Grooming cats is not an easy thing to do. Cats are very
different from dogs. When grooming a cat we watch for
matting or tangles. We watch for loose skin. Cats skin is
like pantyhose so if you cut one spot it could run down the
side of your cat. If a cat has to many mats we shave them.
Cats do not like for their hair to be pulled. Also, a cats
mouth is dirtier then a dogs and the bits sting a lot more.
Cats are very difficult to shave. If your cat is short haired
or long haired and needs a bath we can bath them for you
and do a shed-less treatment on them. Now all cats do not
like to be groomed I would say most do not like to be
groomed.
Our prices for cats are:
Baths, ears, nails, brush
Short hair: $36.00
Long hair: $45.00
Shave: $65.00
There also might be a fee for extra handling for a cat
because some of the time they do not like to be done. The
last picture is of my arm after doing a cat that did not want
to be done.
Here I am starting Mac's haircut and the
second is me finishing him before the bath.
